Hi, I'm Fred!
I'm passionate about the natural world, and I'm on a mission to help people understand and appreciate every part of the life around them. When I was little, I was head-over-heels in love with every single flying or crawling thing I could find. Pretty soon I was the neighborhood's bug expert, and people would bring me caterpillars and other insects to identify.
Now, as an "adult," I am still fascinated with everything on six (or more) legs. Fred's Bughouse is simply a way to share the accumulated knowledge I have built up over a lifetime. I still do my best to identify everything the good people of my neighborhood bring to my door, only now my neighborhood is the entire world!
